Easter Party Planning
Flower Place Settings for Easter
These adorable place settings will go perfectly with an Easter dinner,
or just a spring party.

What You Will Need:
1. Plastic Martini glasses (these are easily found at party stores)
2. Green Pipe Cleaners
3. Glue Stick
4. Scissors
5. Green, pink, blue, yellow and purple foam sheets
6. Permanent black marker
7. Paper
8. Pencil
Directions:
1. Begin by making a template for yourself; use the top of one of the
martini glasses to draw a circle on a piece of paper.
2. Cut the circle out then use it to draw a flower. Make sure that no
part of the flower will be smaller than the circle. This way you know
that the flower part will be big enough to stick out from the glass.
3. Cut the flower out of blue, pink, yellow or purple foam, and then
use it as the template for the rest of your flowers.
4. When you have finished cutting out enough flowers for all of your
place settings, use the circle again as a template for making the
leaves. It looks best if there are three leaves of various sizes for
each flower.
5. Cut the leaves out of green foam. IMPORTANT: you do not want to cut
inside the circle. If you need to, use a pencil to draw the circle
onto the foam.
6. Cut out enough leaves for all of your flowers.
7. Use the scissors to poke a small hole in the middle of one of the
flowers.
8. Push the flower onto the stem of the martini cup and situate it so
that it is directly under the base of the cup.
9. Repeat this process with the leaves so that they are just under the
flower.
10. To create the nametag, cut one colored piece of foam into a
rectangle then use a different color to make a slightly bigger
rectangle.
11. Glue the small rectangle onto the larger rectangle.
12. Use the permanent marker to write the person’s name on the small
rectangle of foam.
13. Use a green pipe cleaner to create a spiraled holder for the
nametag.
You can put fun candies or small presents in the cup part for your
guests, or you can have them remove the flower part and use the cup as
a glass.
