'Happy Easter' Display for Mantels or Tables

Create a display of pretty Easter pastels and welcome guests with this cheerful greeting on your mantel or a side table.

'Happy Easter' Display for Mantels or Tables

To create this display you will need:

  • Empty thin rectangular cardboard box for the 2nd tier base

  • 11 Plastic Eggs in different pastel colors

  • Peel-off alphabet stickers in a color darker than the eggs

  • Colorful Ribbons

  • Yellow Feathers

  • Easter Chick Accessory

  • 6-7 Little Straw Hats (available at craft stores in the doll-making sections)

  • Glue Gun or Any suitable glue

Preparing the Eggs:

Stick the peel-off letters one on each egg making a 'HAPPY EASTER' on all 11 eggs. Tie ribbons on each egg just below the lettering. Glue straw hats on top of some of the eggs. Glue the Easter chick on any one egg.

Assembling:

Place the rectangular box on the surface where you want to create this display. Glue the eggs with the lettering 'HAPPY' on to them. You will only need to add a dash of glue to the bottom of the eggs to do this. Now glue the backs of the eggs with the lettering 'EASTER' on them to the cardboard box. Use the picture as a guide.

Glue some feathers on the cardboard box to hide it completely. Spread the remaining feathers around the eggs display.
